Terms of use
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. What this is about
These terms apply to the Kamiland app. The provider is Majid Vesal Azad; the address is in the legal notice. By setting up Kamiland you agree to these terms.
2. Who sets up Kamiland
Kamiland is set up by a parent or another adult with parental responsibility. You create the child profiles, set the playtime and keep the parent PIN secret so that children cannot change any settings. Kamiland helps you manage screen time, but it does not replace your supervision.
3. What Kamiland offers
Kamiland shows children animals with photos, videos, animal sounds and small learning games. The app is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. Many photos, videos and animal sounds need an internet connection. We keep developing Kamiland, so content and features may change.
4. Rights of use
You may use Kamiland privately for yourself and your family. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app with its drawings, texts and voice recordings unless the law allows it. Photos, videos and animal sounds from Wikimedia Commons are under the free licenses named in each case; you can find the authors and licenses in the parents’ area under “Photo credits”. Apple’s standard license agreement for apps (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also applies.
5. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential obligation, that is, an obligation that makes the use of Kamiland possible in the first place and on which you may rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.
6. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we show you the new version in the app. It applies as soon as you agree to it.
7. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you live in another country as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
